Layer by layer assembly of core-corona structured solid lipid nanoparticles with ?-cyclodextrin polymers

This study aims to design and characterize the layer-by-layer assembly of core-corona nanoarchitecture for novel surface-modified solid lipid nanoparticles. Oppositely charged ?-cyclodextrin polymers were used build corona structure onto core, particle size, polydispersity index, zeta potential SLN with polymer layers evaluated. Morphology was identified using TEM. The effect coating on drug release pattern investigated by in-vitro studies. biocompatibility systems assessed various healty cell lines in vitro cytotoxicity assay. presence oppositely found be effective alteration from negative positive values an increased surface charge density achieved comparison core SLN. results also revealed that is mainly controlled diffusion could enhance slow/controlled drug. Cytotoxicity assay suggested novel, hierarchical structured SLNs don't have cytotoxic effects healthy cells can safely as carriers. Overall, promising designing nanoarchitectures nanoparticles may applied via many administration routes.
